Return Policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How To Make A Return
To start a return online, you can contact us at ankeny@mainstreamboutique.com. Please note that the cost of the return is the customer responsibility and the item will need to be shipped to the following address:

To return the item in-store, come visit us at Mainstream Boutique Ankeny. Online orders can't be returned to other locations.
Refund Policy (Store Credit Only)
Thank you for supporting our small business. As a locally owned boutique, we operate on limited inventory and carefully curated collections. Because of this, we do not offer refunds back to the original form of payment.
Instead, all eligible returns are issued as store credit, which never expires and can be used in-store or online. This allows us to continue bringing in new styles, maintain fair pricing, and keep our business sustainable.
To receive store credit, items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In original condition with tags attached
- Returned within our stated return window
We appreciate your understanding and your support—it truly makes a difference for small businesses like ours.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
